Bernard is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors MNZIQS and a member of the NZ Society of Construction Law Inc.
His expertise covers the full range of quantity surveying services, with extensive experience in Cost Management, Contract Administration, Contractual Issues, Estimating, Scheduling, Insurance claim settlement, insurance valuations, and earthquake strengthening & repair work including Mediations and Expert Witness
Bernard has worked on a wide range of projects including time spent living and working in London, significantly in the Education, Residential, Fitout, Open Spaces, Public and Commercial building sectors.
Bernard has successfully delivered a wide variety of projects including the recently opened TOI ART exhibition at Te Papa, The Great War Exhibition at the Dominion Museums Building, Meet the Locals at Wellington Zoo, Christchurch Boys High School New Hall / Gymnasium, Rawhiti School Christchurch and the Discovery Garden at Wellington Botanical Gardens to name a few. He has been heavily involved in Insurance works in Christchurch and Wellington including both Mediation and Expert Witness works. Recently Bernard has taken on the Chief Estimator role in the Wellington office and is responsible for estimates being delivered on time and to a high standard.
Outside of work, Bernard loves his sport and when not playing football socially, he can be found attending games all over the country whether it is Rugby, League, Cricket or Football. Beyond all that he loves to spend time with his wife and friends both at home or abroad.
