Dave began his employment at Maltbys in 1993 and became a Director in 1996. He has over 42 years experience in the industry as a professional consultant in the Wellington area. Dave is now acting in a consulting basis having retired as a full director.

Dave is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNZIQS).

Daves expertise covers the full range of quantity surveying services, with extensive experience in Project and Cost Management of major construction projects and in Development Risk Management.

Dave has worked on a wide range of projects in New Zealand, latterly and significantly in the Residential, Health, Hotel/tourism, Retail, Commercial and Public Building sectors.

Outside of work, Dave sits on the Board of Trustees of Wellington Girls College and the Wellington Indoor Stadium Trust, and takes a keen interest in all Community and Sports Activities.
